Winter is the 4th installment in the Lunar Chronicles. This series is not merely a retelling of familiar fairy-tales, but it's an integration of them within a futuristic, science-fiction format.

I didn't expect to love this series so much, but I find it so inventive, romantic, and frankly enthralling!! I feel like they've set Winter (i.e. Snow White) up to be a bit of a delicate flower, but I'm pretty sure she's going to kick some serious ass and lay down the law. And I'm going to love every minute of it.

We've been waiting almost 2 years for this finale! I even broke my "no 0.5, 3.7 novella/ short story thingys" and bought Fairest (Lunar Chronicles 3.5) which gives some backstory for the evil Queen Levana. It sort of tided me over, but it was like Lunar Chronicles "Light" and I'm waiting for the real thing.
