https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23705512-you-re-never-weird-on-the-internet?ac=1
Author: Felicia Day
Publisher: Touchstone
Release Date: August 11, 2015

From online entertainment mogul, actress, and “queen of the geeks” Felicia Day, a funny, quirky, and inspiring memoir about her unusual upbringing, her rise to Internet-stardom, and embracing her individuality to find success in Hollywood...
...Hilarious and inspirational, You’re Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) is proof that everyone should embrace what makes them different and be brave enough to share it with the world, because anything is possible now—even for a digital misfit.

First off, I have to say that I just love Felicia Day. I have for years, ever since I was killing some time and tried The Guild on Netflix one day. I watch her on Geek and Sundry, and I participate in the Vaginal Fantasy Book Club on goodreads when I can, even watching their monthly Vaginal Fantasy Google+ Hangout. Basically, I’m a fan.

Last night I finished her new memoir You’re Never Weird on the Internet (Almost). I quietly put my iPad down, got ready for bed, and instantly burst into tears. Needless to say my husband was alarmed and didn’t expect this reaction from me after finishing Felicia’s book! There were many levels to these tears, but I can tell you the immediate source of the tears was anger.

Blogging Pains

Blogger Problems, 2015, yo.

So to increase my blogosphere (wow you can actually spellcheck that…) I decided to join up with Top Ten Tuesdays and Waiting for Wednesday to share my views and also take a look at what other book bloggers be bloggin’.

And there are SO MANY awesome blogs out there! Great names, designs, colour schemes, etc. And I realized that I could click their little chicklet-buttons for Facebook or Twitter to follow them, but I didn’t have that option for MY follower! (Not a typo.)

Quickie Review: Magic Rises

Magic Rises Magic Rises by Ilona Andrews
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

You know those books that have you bargaining with yourself late at night? "It's midnight? I'm sure there's not much left to this chapter... Do I really need 6 hours of sleep..." etc. I find this whole SERIES like that.

Also, whilst reading in bed, I actually shouted, out loud, "Whaaaat?!" at a certain reveal in the plot. My husband asked if I was okay, and I assured him that I was okay, but was KATE going to be okay?!

Waiting on Wednesday #1: Saga, Volume 5

Waiting on Wednesday
"Waiting on Wednesday" (WoW) is a weekly meme featuring upcoming releases that
book bloggers are eagerly anticipating!
hosted by: Jill @ Breaking the Spine

As this is my first WoW, I thought I'd go by closest release date (so as not to hurt the other books' feelings... obviously).
